This list will give you some idea of what is available but we have a much more extensive range at our funeral homes for you to choose from, be it something simple, traditional or completely personalised or out of the ordinary. We will be happy to discuss your ideas.

 

Visiting your loved one in our Chapels

At all of our funeral homes we have beautiful dedicated private chapels of rest where you can visit your loved one. This is very much your decision. Some find it helps with the acceptance of death, whereas others can find it adds to their grief. We are always willing to discuss this with you and accommodate your requests. We also offer the facility to view your loved one in the privacy of your own home.

Obituary Notices

Obituary notices can be placed by us in a variety of local and national newspapers to advise people of the funeral date and also your requests regarding flowers and donations

Charitable Donations

We can administer donations to any charity of your choice and will personally thank each donor on your behalf. We will send you a list of donors and the total amount collected after a period of 4 - 6 weeks. If your friends and family would like to gift aid their donation so that the charity will gain an additional 28p of every pound given at no extra cost to themselves, please ask them to complete our gift aid form and send with their donation (pdf format, requires Adobe Acrobat to open).

 

Funeral Stationery

A printed order of service can be an added personal touch, as well as providing a precious keepsake that can perhaps be sent to those who are unable to attend the funeral. We are always willing to talk to you and discuss your individual requirements in detail.

Announcement and pew cards are also available. Please just ask.

 

Floral Tributes

We will be happy to assist you with the ordering of floral tributes. We will also present all floral cards to you in a keepsake box following the funeral if desired.

Catering

We specialise in providing a quality catering service with high quality homemade food and discreet professional staff. Our qualified caterers will be happy to come and see you in the comfort of your own home if desired, to discuss your individual requirements. Please ask to see our sample menus.

Burial at Sea

Contrary to popular belief, burial at sea is still available and is the perfect tribute for all seafarers or those wanting something a bit more unusual.
